Festive Break
A couple of weeks to have a break from training sessions and consolidate your learnings from Phase 1.
Phase 2: Jan - Feb
“Application & Perfection”
If you sign up to Training Package 2 or 3, you’ll move on to Phase 2 of the Programme after the Festive Break. Phase 2 is about “Application and Perfection” of the techniques learnt so far. You’ll apply, develop, practice and hone everything you’ve learnt in Phase 1 to ensure that you’re peaking just in time for the EQE.
At the end of Phase 2, we’ll have worked through at least 4 Paper A and 4 Paper B past papers together, and you’ll have participated in interactive debriefs for each of these – including a Mock Exam experience.
*Candidates who’ve chosen Training Package 3 at booking will also get individual feedback on a fifth Paper A past paper (A 2019 (Cell Culture)) and a fifth Paper B past paper (B 2019 (Solar Cooking)).
There are 3 main parts in Phase 2.
PAPER REVIEW TUTORIALS:
The first 2 sessions will review the following past papers:
– Paper A – 2018 (Glass panes)
– Paper B – 2018 (Fuses)
You’ll work through these papers independently, using everything you learnt in Phase 1. A review session on each paper will allow us to talk through key issues and learnings from the paper. Individual feedback will be provided on your answers*.
MOCK EXAM SESSIONS:
By now, you should be ready to pass! That’s why Phase 2 culminates with the Mock Exam. You will “sit” the 2022 A Paper on Day 1 and then the 2022 B Paper on Day 2. We’ll review your answers and make any fine adjustments you need for your technique and approaches*
Mock Exam
– Paper A – 2022 (Paper-pulp)
– Paper B – 2022 (Snowshoes)
PAPER REVIEW SESSIONS:
We will then have answer review sessions for these papers.
– Paper A – 2022 (Paper-pulp)
– Paper B – 2022 (Snowshoes)
As mentioned above, Training Package 3 Candidates will also be able to attempt Paper A 2019 (Cell Culture) and Paper B 2019 (Solar Cooking) and get individual feedback on their answers*.
BONUS SESSIONS: Until the Exams (and Beyond!)
“Polishing”
We’re with you all the way to the Exams, and beyond, no matter which Training Package you choose when you book.
We’ll therefore be running at least one catch-up session between the end of Phase 2 and the start of the Exams themselves to allow you the chance to further improve and polish everything you’ve learnt so far, and all the materials you have been provided with during your time with us.
We’ll even arrange an optional wrap-up session for a decompression after the EQE has finished so we can hear how you did, discuss any challenges you faced, and celebrate that you’ve just finished one of the toughest set of professional exams in the world!
These bonus sessions are included for everyone on the EQE Training Programme, regardless of Training Package.
